Robert L. Jacobson

FOUNDER

Robert Jacobson started his professional career working in the tax department and audit department of a National Accounting Firm. He began the practice of law after obtaining his CPA. The Jacobson Law Firm provides a full-service real property tax consulting option which includes valuation and litigation. Robert represents national, regional, and local property owners before local administrative tribunals, state trial courts, and appellate courts and handles cases in the Northeast, North Carolina and Florida.   

Robert concentrates in various types of real property, including senior living facilities, hotels, banks, office buildings, industrial and manufacturing properties, and retail properties with extensive litigation involving national drugstores, big box retailers, shopping centers, and mall anchor stores, especially property encumbered by a custom build-to-suit net lease. Mr. Jacobson has also argued before the Court of Appeals.

Aaron H. Jacobson

Aaron H. Jacobson concentrates his practice on property tax assessment litigation, representing commercial property owners and tenants in assessment challenges throughout New York State and the Northeast.

Aaron has secured millions of dollars in property tax savings for clients across a wide range of commercial property types, including retail centers, apartment complexes, office buildings, hotels and industrial properties. He represents national, regional and local property owners in tax assessment disputes before municipal Boards of Assessment Review and in litigation proceedings in state courts.

His experience includes representing property owners at property tax grievance hearings, settlement conferences and trial. He has successfully litigated assessment challenges through trial and has helped reduce property assessments by millions of dollars, resulting in significant tax savings for property owners.
